Our Professional Development Annual Service Plan is focused on five important operating principles:
- Continuity – All members of the school system will learn how to productively use interactive technology tools.
- Sustainability – The school system will build its future culture around leveraging the effectiveness and productivity of interactive technology tools.
- Cost Effectiveness – The school system will invest in cost-effective models, programs and tools that will help them optimize their key assets (People, Product and Facilities).
- Building Organization Capability and Capacity – The school system will build its organization's capability and capacity by developing its people's collective mind sets, skill sets and tool sets.
- Building Overall Achievement of Stakeholders – The school system will build an environment where all of it stakeholders are challenged by opportunities and demonstrate a willingness to learn, think, compete and win.
Today and moving forward, all school systems are challenged with the question of “how do we do more with less?” As we discussed this complex question with school leadership, the list of new school needs started to emerge. The district needs that we designed our Professional Annual Service Plan around are:
- Create an organizational learning environment that fosters cost effectiveness, systemic productivity, flexibility and people development
- All of our stakeholders are committed to attain our achievement goals
- Create a interactive technology based school system.
